Better Life Int. processes your personal data as in point 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself.

2.2 Data on lifestyle and physical complaints
We also process your data during an intake interview, which we need to coach you as much as possible in achieving your agreed goals, such as:
– Eating and drinking pattern
– Sports data
– Smoking and drinking habits
– Physical complaints, if they are present and are important to know when helping/coaching towards your goal.
– Use of medication if applicable
– Making a before and after photo to make the result visual
2.3 Measurement data
In order to be able to guide/coach you as best as possible, we process your measured values of your body with an advanced scale with your permission, such as:
– Weight
– Moisture percentage
– Fat percentage
– BMI (Body Mass Index)
– Visceral fat
– Muscle mass
– Muscle quality
– BMR (Basal Metabolism Rest)
– Metabolic age
3.0 Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents or guardians to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at ton@better-life.nl and we will delete this information.
4.0 For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Better Life Int. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Handling your payment; basis of agreement
– Being able to monitor your data obtained after a measurement on a scale, in order to guide you towards your intended goal(s); basis of consent
– Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure; basis of consent
– To be able to call, text or email you if this is necessary to be able to carry out our services/coaching; basis of consent
– To inform you about changes to our services and products; basis of agreement
– Better Life Int. also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return; principles of consent and agreement.
– We process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest.
5.0 Automated decision making
Better Life Int. does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of Better Life Int.). Better Life Int. uses the following computer programs or systems:
– Visma: an electronic accounting program to be able to perform invoicing to ensure a healthy financial management of Better Life Int. to be able to guarantee. The personal data is stored and used to be able to send an invoice in person or by e-mail.
6.0 How long we keep personal data
Better Life Int. does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
Data under point 2.1
If you have indicated that you no longer wish to use our services/coaching, it has been agreed that your personal data will continue to exist in the electronic accounting program for 3 years after the date of the last coaching conversation and will then become redundant and will therefore be destroyed.
Data under point 2.2
If you have indicated that you no longer wish to use our services/coaching, it has been agreed that your data will be superfluous after the last coaching date and will therefore be destroyed. If you later want to start again as a customer with us, you will be treated as a new customer and you must complete the intake again.

Better Life Int. only uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy.
